We are happy to announce the release of our first, custom house wine - Vin de Solace, Urban Red - for Urban Solace restaurant in North Park.
Urban Red is a 2005 South Coast blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. Cranberries and dried herbs are predominant, with firm but smooth tannins and balanced acidity to make it a great food wine. We worked closely with Urban Solace to come up with a custom wine specific to the taste and style they desired, rather than simply labeling "shiners" as is often seen in a house label.
